Marie Osmond's Kid Heads to Rehab

It's not a good time to be Marie Osmond.


On tonight's "Larry King Live," the "Dancing with the Stars" star was blindsided by Larry King who asked if 16-year-old son Michael was in rehab. What would Brigham Young do?! She confirmed that he was admitted last week -- the same week Marie's father died at his home in Utah.

Osmond got choked up while talking about her son, telling Larry, "He is the most amazing kid ... it's been a hard week." Still, Marie managed to go on with the "Dancing" show.

Nobody quits a job when a family member dies nor do they stop living. You go on and live.

Marie is no different form anyone else who has to deal with crap.

86. Thanks, Larry, for showing what an insensitive boob you are. Why don't you just beat her with a stick -- it would be kinder.

I guess a lot of people think if someone is in show business they don't deserve courtesy or sensitivity. I've met Marie Osmond. She is a genuinely nice person. And she is human. Based on some of the comments here, I would say Larry has a lot of company in the insensitivity department.
